Packed Lunches

Children are also welcome to bring a packed lunch from home. Below is some guidance for packed lunches. Packed lunches should be sent into school in a named lunchbox.

  • As part of our healthy schools and PSHE curriculum we promote and encourage packed lunches to be healthy and balanced, whilst understanding that some children may have quite restricted diets.
  • We are a no nut school and therefore do ask that all lunches are nut free.
  • It is our policy that packets of sweets, large chocolate bars and fizzy drinks are not included in lunches, but a small chocolate bar or piece of cake is fine as a desert element to a pack up.
  • We also ask that items such as grapes and cherry tomatoes are sliced (top to bottom) to help prevent against choking on these items
