About our School
Welcome to Manor Field Infant and Nursery school located in the village of Long Stratton, south of Norwich. Our school is an exciting, happy and safe place, where children learn in an environment in which achievement is expected and celebrated. We are proud to offer a curriculum based on a Core Story approach, which allows for interesting and engaging learning opportunities. All of our dedicated staff are passionate about the learning and well-being of the children in their care.
A nurturing and inclusive ethos is at the heart of our school and we work hard to remove barriers to learning, ensuring that children have the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to prepare them for life-long learning.
The positive support of our families and community ensures that we work in partnership for the benefit of our children.
Our school is part of the Clarion Corvus Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust in the East of England.
In the 2019 parent surveys, 100% of parents who responded: said that their child enjoyed being at school, is making progress and the school is attractive and welcoming. |

Manor Field Infant and Nursery School is built on the grounds of the old Manor House and shares a large, attractive green site with Long Stratton High School and St Marys Church of England Junior School. There is a hard play area and an adventure playground and in the summer months the children can enjoy playing and relaxing on our own large field which is also used for outdoor sports and athletic activities.
“I like the fact that Nursery children are included in school activities such as school plays and sports days”.
“My daughter is keen to be like her big sister and enjoys using the school” (from parent survey 2019).
As we are so well placed in the centre of Long Stratton with its excellent amenities, we are able to easily use the assets of the local community to enrich our school life.
